Matthew Morrison announced over the weekend that he would be leaving SYTYCD. But, details about who will be replacing him are yet to be publicized.

Nevertheless, it was first shocking to everyone when he suddenly said he was leaving the show even though filming for the new season had already begun. He will only appear in the first four episodes, according to reports.

Now, rumors have it that he was dismissed from the Fox reality show after he had an inappropriate interaction with a female competitor. The information was given by a source close to the show as per Yahoo News.

They did not have any sexual encounter, but he sent flirty texts to her through social media, to which the contestant showed dissatisfaction. As a result, she complained to the producers, who contacted fox. Then, after their investigation, he was sacked.

In contrast, the actor previously said he was leaving because he could not follow the competition production protocols. He is scheduled to appear in episodes through mid-June, as most of this season’s episodes have already been pre-taped.

His replacement is set to be brought in for the second half of the competition. Morrison was part of a new judging panel for Season 17 that included JoJo Siwa and Stephen “tWitch” Boss, who replaced Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy.
