Actress Amy Adams may be known for her work on the silver screen, but at home, she’s busy learning dances off her phone.

On this Monday’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers” the 47-year-old revealed that she’s recently gotten into learning TikTok dances, much to the embarrassment of her 11-year-old daughter Aviana.

“I’m always behind on everything,” the “Dear Evan Hansen” star told Meyers, explaining that she thought Applebee’s new commercial — which shows TikTok users dancing to the Walker Hayes song “Fancy Like” — was “just an Applebee’s commercial” and not a social media trend.

“That’s when you know your age, is when you think it’s from the commercial” Meyers, also 47, responded.

Adams then revealed that she had learned the dance. “That Applebee’s jingle is really catchy,” she gushed. “The dance is catchy too, so that’s the only one I have actually learned.”

“From a sitting position is there any of that you can show us, as far as what that TikTok dance is?” Meyers requested.

“I can try,” Adams said, before singing the song and doing the dance from her seat, before adding sarcastically, “that’s not embarrassing at all for my daughter, what I just did. I think the word she uses is ‘cringe,’ but she’s patient with me. I’ve been embarrassing her for 11 great years, and more to come.”

In addition to discussing her new viral dance capabilities, Adams also recently talked about more formally learning moves for “Disenchanted,” the much anticipated upcoming sequel to Disney’s 2007 hit “Enchanted.”

“There’s a lot more singing and a lot more dancing which was humbling. The last time I really danced as much as I’m required to dance in this, I was in my 20s and now I’m not in my 20s,” she said on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” this month according to the Hollywood Reporter. It feels different in your 40s. In my heart, I look like I’m in my 20s when I’m dancing, and then I would watch playback and be like, ‘Whoa, that’s not the same.’”

The original cast has all returned, she added.

“Everyone is back. We also have great additions to the cast. We have Maya Rudolph. She plays the ‘baddie,’ so we get to have a lot of fun together,” she said.
