13-Year-Old Confesses to Suffocating 4-Year-Old Sibling: Cops – Crime Online

A 13-year-old Virginia child has been charged with murder after the teen allegedly confessed to suffocating their 4-year-old sibling last August.

The Danville Police Department said its officers responded to a call in August about a child who had been found in a room with no pulse and not breathing.

The child was taken to SOVAH Health in Danville and then airlifted to another hospital, where the child died.

The department has been investigating the case since that time, and said that the 13-year-old confessed earlier this week and was arrested outside the city in another jurisdiction.

They provided no further details about the case, except to say that the teen will be held at the W.W. Moore Juvenile Detention Center pending trial.
