AMBER Alert: Georgia Man Wanted for Assaulting Child’s Mother, Abducting 2-Month-Old

An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 2-month-old Georgia baby reportedly abducted Tuesday in Clayton County.

According to AJC, Tariq Denzell Williams, 25, is accused of taking his son, Roman Williams, near Fielder Road and Mount Zion Boulevard.

Davis allegedly assaulted the child’s mother before fleeing in a silver 2017 Volkswagen Passat.

“The vehicle was last tracked moving toward I-75 and investigators believe that Williams is traveling southbound, possibly with the intention of going to Florida,” Clayton police said.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, reports that the incident happened at around 8:35 a.m.

Williams is wanted on charges that include kidnapping, battery, theft of a motor vehicle, cruelty to children, and 911 call interference.

He’s described as standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds.

“Anyone with information regarding the suspect, the child or the vehicle is urged to contact 911 immediately,” police said.
