Anne Burrell: Food Network Chef Found Dead Near Dozens of Pills [Report]

Food Network star chef Anne Burrell, who died on Tuesday, was allegedly found unresponsive at her New York home alongside dozens of pills.

Burrell’s husband reportedly found her unconscious in the shower and called 911. An unnamed source told the New York Post that Burrell performed improv in Brooklyn the night before she died, and she seemed to be “in great spirits.”

The New York Fire Department said Burrell suffered cardiac arrest, but sources told the New York Post it was too soon to speculate on whether pills found near her body played a factor in her death. The sources reportedly also said they do not believe foul play is involved.

Sources told TMZ that a 911 dispatcher advised Burrell’s husband to perform CPR even though he mentioned her body was cold.
