An Atlanta homeowner shot two teens he allegedly caught stealing packages from his porch Thursday afternoon.
According to WSB, one of the victims — a 15-year-old — was shot in the foot, and the other — also believed to be a juvenile — was hit in the arm.
The second victim was hospitalized in critical condition but was out of surgery by Friday morning and expected to survive, WAGA reported. The 15-year-old was said to be in stable condition.
Police and prosecutors are still trying to decide if it’s legal for homeowners to shoot people they see taking packages. The homeowner is cooperating with the investigation.
