Bodies of Woman, 2 Children Found in Lake Michigan

The bodies of an infant girl, a 6-year-old boy, and a 31-year-old woman were recovered from Lake Michigan on Saturday.

Chicago police said the baby girl was found in the water near the 57th Street Beach shortly before 11:30 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene, according to WMAQ. About three hours later, the bodies of the boy and the woman were found near the 63rd Street Beach.

Police said the incidents appear to be connected and possibly stemmed from a domestic dispute.

All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not said if the know the identities of the victims and are awaiting autopsy results.

WLS reported that law enforcement is not looking for suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
