Police in Arizona found a man dead at his own home on Monday and arrested a burglar they say killed him last month and then kept living at the dead man’s home.
Neighbors called Phoenix Police because they hadn’t seen 57-year-old David Jimenez in some time — yet they saw activity at the home and thought someone was living there, KTVK reported.
When they arrived, they found Jimenez’s body in the backyard. The set up a barricade around the home, and eventually 18-year-old Xzavion Johnson came out and was arrested.
Johnson told detectives he shot and killed Jimenez while burglarizing the home and just stayed there.
He has been charged with murder and burglary.
