Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Cop Son Fired After Chase Ends in Crash, Killing Uninvolved Teen

An Alabama police officer has been fired after a a chase ended in a crash that killed an uninvolved teenager.

Garry Chapman, son of Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, lost his job as a result of the September 6 crash, police confirmed to WAFF.

Chapman was placed on leave after the crash, as CrimeOnline reported.

Tristan Hollis, 17, was killed when Archie Hale rammed into the car carrying him and three other teens after Priceville police officers decided to chase Hale, a drunk driving suspect, off Interstate 65 and onto Main Street.

All three of the other teens were hospitalized, as was Hale, who has since been charged with murder, according to WAFF.

Chapman has not faced any charges.
