A Florida police officer was arrested on Sunday and charged with aggravated stalking.
WFLA reported that Clearwater Police officer Brian Tejera allegedly sent threatening written and video messages to her girlfriend and her family.
“This is a disturbing allegation. We immediately initiated an internal investigation and placed him on administrative leave,” Clearwater Police Chief Eric Gandy said.
According to WTSP, Tejera has been with the Clearwater department since 2007.
Tejera was arrested in Pasco County and booked into jail there.
