High School Wrestling Star Arrested, Rips Girl’s Hair Out During Sexual Assault: Police

An Iowa high school wrestler is facing charges after police say he sexually assaulted a girl earlier this year.

According to the Oskaloosa Police Department, police arrested Kaiden Parker Tuesday and charged him with sexual abuse.

The alleged incident occurred on March 29 at an Oskaloosa home. The defendant is accused of using “force to have sexual intercourse” with a female against her will. Immediately after, the victim told others what happened, according to WHO 13.

Court documents obtained by Sports Illustrated indicated the victim had “two observable spots on her scalp,” after Parker allegedly pulled her hair during the assault.

Parker reportedly placed last year during a high school state wrestling tournament.

The Oskaloosa School District released a statement following the alleged incident.

“We are aware of an allegation against one of our District students. To our understanding, the alleged incident did not take place on school property.

“The student has not attended in-person classes for approximately one year. The District is investigating the incident, and the matter will be handled consistent with District policy. The District is fully cooperating with law enforcement.

“There is no known threat to school operations. Further questions regarding this matter should be directed to the Mahaska County Attorney’s Office.”

Police booked Parker into the Mahaska County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond.
