Indiana Woman Charged With Murders of Boyfriend, His Parents

An Indiana woman has been charged with murder after her boyfriend and his parents were found shot to death in their home.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois said that Jenna Strouble, 30, “had an on/off relationship” with Jacob Lambert, 32, who was found dead in a vehicle early Monday in the driveway of the Crete Township home. The pair had children together, investigators said.

Lambert’s parents — Stacy Forde, 54, and Patrick Forde, 55, were found dead inside the home near the front door.

Investigators found Strouble at her home in St. John, about 8 miles away across the Indiana state line, and took her into custody.

The sheriff’s office said they were called to the scene at about 2 a.m. Monday by “a concerned family member” who requested a welfare check. Investigators said Strouble “gave incriminating statements” during her interview with police, leading to nine first degree murder charges.

Strouble, native of Indiana, is being held at the Lake County jail awaiting extradition to Illinois to face the charges.
