A Nebraska man allegedly beat another man with a hammer until it broke then picked up a fire extinguisher to continue the assault.
York County sheriff’s deputies say they were called to a motel about the assault and spoke with two victims, KOLN reported.
Both men said that 49-year-old Roger Abramson attacked them, with one saying he was hit with the hammer ten to 15 times until it broke. Abramson hit him with the fire extinguisher another six to eight times, telling him “Aren’t you dead yet?” and “I’m going to kill you” as he hit him, an arrest affidavit said.
Both victims were taken to a hospital for treatment, and Abramson was charged with assault and terroristic threats.
He was given a $200,000 bond and is due in court again on Wednesday.
