Sebastian Rogers: Sheriff Gives Update on Missing Tennessee Teen’s Disappearance

For the first time in months, authorities updated the public on Sebastian Rogers, sharing the latest developments in a case that has captured widespread attention.

Sebastian turned 16 over the weekend, nearly 10 months after his disappearance, with the Amber Alert still active.

“It’s not a cold case. It is an active and ongoing investigation,” Sumner County Sheriff Eric Craddock told News Channel 5.

Craddock has been actively involved in the case since Sebastian vanished from his Hendersonville home on February 26 last year.

Investigators have pursued hundreds of tips since Sebastian’s disappearance, but no confirmed sightings have emerged. As a result, unfounded rumors from dubious sources continue to spread online.

“It’s easy to make those comments on social media,” Sheriff Craddock stated.

He pointed out that investigators concentrate on facts, seeking solid evidence and credible leads. While official updates have been limited in recent months, the sheriff confirmed that the team meets weekly to review the case.

“I’ve been transparent. There is some information that can’t be released because it could be prejudicial to the case and a successful resolution is my ultimate goal.”

Sebastian is described as a white male who stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs between 106 to 108 pounds. He has dirty blond hair and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants. His flashlight keychain is unaccounted for.

Anyone with information regarding Rogers’ whereabouts should call the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-451-3838 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
