San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and wife Jenna Purdy have experienced some major life changes over the last year. In July 2025, Jenna took to Instagram to announce the birth of their new baby daughter Millie Joleen Purdy.
Since then, Millie has become the newest 49ers fan as Jenna has been keeping fans posted on the recent addition to the Purdy family attending Niners games.
“Millie Joleen Purdy Life just became a whole lot sweeter,” Jenna noted in a July 28, Instagram message while posting photos of the couple’s new baby.
The couple appeared to keep Jenna’s pregnancy mostly under wraps. Back in August, Jenna posted an old photo showing off her baby bump labeling the pregnancy as, “Our little secret🤍.”

Brock Purdy & Wife Jenna Purdy Welcomed a New Baby Before 49ers Training Camp
It may have been a surprise to most of the football world, but Brock appears to be adjusting to life as a dad just fine. The news came with impeccable timing during the early stages of the 49ers training camp.
“I still really can’t describe it,” Purdy said of the couple’s new addition during an August 1, media session, per 49ers.com’s Briana Jeannel. “Just how awesome it is coming home and seeing little baby girl and holding her and her sleeping on me. There’s nothing better.
“No gift can compare. And seeing Jenna and how she’s been awesome as a mom, just all of it all together. It’s so good.”
Brock & Jenna Purdy Lean on Their Christian Faith
The couple are college sweethearts going back to their time together at Iowa State. Brock and Jenna got married on March 9. 2024, in Des Moines, Iowa. The couple honeymooned in the sunshine with a trip to Turks and Caicos, per Southern Bride.
Both Jenna and Brock have been outspoken about the importance of their Christian faith. Brock referenced this faith shortly after their wedding.
“Jenna Joleen Purdy. My wife,” Brock noted in an April 1, 2024, Instagram post. “No matter the circumstances in our life, Jesus will always be our firm foundation. I love you JP. Ecclesiastes 4:12.”
After the couple became engaged in 2023, Jenna took to social media to express her excitement about doing “life together forever.”
“WE GET TO DO LIFE TOGETHER…FOREVER!” Jenna said on July 2, 2023. “Brock Purdy – I love everything about you & your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”
Brock Purdy Left 49ers Practice To Be With Wife Jenna for Birth of New Baby
The 49ers quarterback is balancing being a top NFL quarterback with fatherhood just fine. Brock recently provided fans with a glimpse of what it was like becoming a father.
“Every single morning I’d wake up and go about my day like normal, just waiting for Jenna to send that text,” Brock recalled during a press conference, per Yahoo Sports. “Then that morning she had her doula over, and they said, ‘No, this baby’s coming today.’
“I called Coach [Kyle] Shanahan and [QB coach Mick Lombardi] and told them I couldn’t make it in. They were great— they said, ‘Enjoy it. Be there for her.’ And sure enough, our baby came that day.”
