A woman, who spent four hours getting basic white acrylics, complained about the botched job.

Merel Kempel, from Sydney, Australia, took to her TikTok @merelkempell8 to showcase her nails.

The video, which racked up 46,000 views and over 2,000 likes, showed Merel’s cuticles bloodied.

Her nails ended up looking nothing like what she had asked for and some said they resembled ‘AirPod cases’.

The clip has left many people horrified by the nail fail, and they joked that the nail artist should be ‘fired’ for the unforgivable offence.

Merel wrote on the video: ‘Asked for white acrylics…look at my cuticles’, followed by a crying face emoji.

She gave a closer look at the botched job, which featured thick and uneven nail extensions.

Meanwhile, she was left with cuts underneath her cuticles, presumably caused by the rough manicure.

Many rushed to the comments with their own thoughts on the job with some saying the nail tech should be ‘fired.’

One person wrote: ‘Charge them and make a complaint. She should get fired.’

Another said: ‘Omg looks painful.’

Someone else wrote: ‘Omg… sorry but I’m a beginner on acrylic.. but I am doing it better.’

A fourth wrote: ‘AirPod cases.’
