Aaron Rodgers slams 'sick' interest in his new marriage

Aaron Rodgers didn’t hold back as he blasted “sick society” for the interest in his new marriage.

“It’s a sick society, isn’t it? It’s a sick society,” the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback sounded off on “The Pat McAfee Show” Tuesday.

“I lived in the public eye for 20 years. I had public relationships. How did that work out?” he said.

Rodgers admitted he “didn’t want” any more of the baggage that came with dating in the limelight, claiming people have leaked his home information and made up stories about his love life.

“And now I’m with somebody who’s private, who doesn’t want to be in the public eye. Didn’t sign up to be a celebrity. Doesn’t want to be a part of it,” Rodgers, 41, continued of his new mystery bride.

“Because I do things in private because I want my personal life to be private, now I’m weird and now the paparazzi is stalking me … trying to get a picture of her.”

He also described the “entitlement” to athletes’ personal lives as “so f–king ridiculous and embarrassing.”

Rodgers — who recently signed a one-year contract to play in the 2025-2026 NFL season with the Steelers — went further with his rant, acknowledging that he’s “chosen to be in the public eye for one more season.”

But he promised that he planned to live a life of obscurity once he retires from professional football.

“My private life is my private life. It’s gonna stay that way. I’m with somebody who wants to be private. If and when she wants to be out and there’s a picture, she’ll choose that. She deserves a right to that,” he said.

He also stated his new wife doesn’t have social media.

Rodgers also confidently added that his family — who he “doesn’t talk to” — would not have any information about his personal life.

Earlier this month, the NFL star confirmed he tied the knot wife during a Steelers press conference after prompting marriage speculation by wearing a wedding band on his ring finger.
