Aaron Taylor-Johnson has found himself at the center of bullying accusations after his former co-star’s shocking claims resurfaced in a viral post.
Mexican actress Sandra Echeverría starred alongside the actor, 35, in the 2012 film Savages, directed by Oliver Stone.
Eight years after the film’s release in 2020, she posted a statement on social media in which she alleged Aaron purposefully pressed the breaks of a truck while she was in the back of the vehicle with her arms and legs bound.
As a result, she claimed she was sent flying across the truck and was hurt.
Daily Mail understands that fellow actor Taylor Kitsch was in the passenger seat at the time of the alleged incident, but he was not in a position of power behind the wheel or on the production.
In her statement, Sandra, 40, did note that Aaron later apologized to her at the movie’s premiere.
Taking to Twitter in 2020, she said in her native Spanish: ’10 years ago filming #Savages I played a scene with Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Taylor Johnson.
‘We came in a truck (I was supposed to be kidnapped with the hands and the feet tied in the trunk). Well, they seemed to find it very funny between takes to start the truck really hard… For me to fly around and hit with the movement of the van.

‘Me being tied feet and hands I could not hold myself up and they only revved the truck stronger so that I would hurt myself more. My dad saw everything from afar and was purple from anger. I went down all hurt.
‘I decided not to say anything and hold on, but I hated them. Two proud celebrities were able to do that.
‘A time later at the premiere Aaron came to apologize.’

Sandra’s allegations resurfaced online over the weekend when it was reported that James Gunn had started following Aaron on Instagram, causing many to speculate that he could be cast as the new Batman.
The post sparked a widespread reaction, with many voicing their shock at not having heard Sandra’s devastating accusations until now.
Taking to X, one said: ‘This is insane and I’ve never heard a single thing about this.’
‘Proof that female celebrities are the only ones that truly get canceled because how am I only learning about this now?’ asked another.

Savages, based on Don Winslow’s novel of the same name, follows two cannabis growers, Chon (Kitsch), an ex-Navy SEAL, and Ben (Taylor-Johnson), who are best friends, as they confront the Mexican drug cartel that kidnapped their shared girlfriend.
The film also starred Blake Lively, Benicio del Toro, Salma Hayek, and John Travolta.
Since appearing in Savages alongside the two actors, Sandra has gone on to appear in numerous film and television shows, including The Book of Life (2014) and The Secret Life of Pets (2016).
She had the lead role in the Mexican series, María Félix: La Doña, and has appeared in the sitcom Casados con hijos since it premiered last year.
