Amanda Holden commanded attention as she departed her Manchester hotel ahead of Britain’s Got Talent filming at The Lowry Theatre on Tuesday.

The TV judge, 51, flashed her legs in a thigh-split red gown, which she layered beneath a matching coat while adding inches to her enviable frame with ruby heels.

She framed her face with oversized sunglasses and accessorised with a pair of gold earrings.

Beaming from ear-to-ear, Amanda was flanked by two chaperones who guided her to a nearby vehicle, which whisked her off to the auditions.

Following soon afterwards was Bruno Tonioli, who cut a trendy figure in a grey jacket featuring leather sleeves, which he combined with contrasting white trousers.

Donning a pair of aviator shades, the panel’s latest addition completed his look with shiny leather shoes and kept warm with a thick black scarf.

Earlier in the day, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were beaming as they waved to fans outside their hotel.

The presenting duo, both 47, looked to be in their usual high spirits as filming for the ITV talent show got underway in the city.

Ant wore a charcoal knitted jumper with a wool navy coat and a pair of pin striped trousers.

He completed his look with some burgundy brogues as he flashed a smile for the cameras.

Dec mirrored his co-stars ensemble, opting for a dark blue checked coat with a matching jumper and chino trousers.

He also wore a pair of brogues, in a patent cherry red leather, and accessorised with a bright blue scarf.

The TV presenters could be seen as they picked up a coffee and went to join the talent show judges at the auditions in Salford.

It comes after Simon Cowell was reportedly set on fire by Britain’s Got Talent hopeful in terrifying stunt during London auditions last month.

The TV judge, 63, was taken on stage and had a hood put over his head by a magician, who was masked during the show.

The Mirror reported that lighter fluid was poured all over the hood, then his head was locked in a box which was opened at the front for the audience to see inside.

The magician then dropped a flame into the box and his entire head went up in flames, leaving the other judges and audience in shock.

One onlooker said: ‘The audience screamed, judges were out of their seats screaming, everyone was totally stunned.

‘The flames were put out and Simon got up looking a bit shell-shocked while the rest of the judges breathed a sigh of relief as he returned to the panel.’

Afterwards Simon quipped: ‘I could feel liquid being poured on me but I had no idea it was lighter fluid!’

Fellow judge Alesha Dixon added: ‘Simon, he set your entire head on fire! It was very scary, you are a very brave man to do that.

‘It made me realise how much we care about you, I was ready to come up there and rescue you.’

And new judge Bruno Tonioli said: ‘It reminded me of a scene from that movie, Saw, seeing Simon’s head in that contraption. I was captivated, I’ve never seen anything like that.’
