Late-night hosts have declared that America is ‘horny’ for 26-year-old UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting suspect Luigi Mangione.
On Monday, Mangione was arrested while eating at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and charged over the shooting of Brian Thompson last week in Midtown Manhattan.
He has since been charged with second-degree murder in New York, as well as three gun charges and forgery.
But while the manhunt was on for the 26-year-old, many images of him at the crime scene and beforehand emerged, as some internet users swooned over the alleged criminal and declared that he was ‘hot.’
And, when another mugshot of him was released on Tuesday, some X users took to the platform to call him ‘sexy’ and ‘stunning.’
On late-night TV, the conversation continued, with both Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel cracking jokes about Mangione’s handsome looks.
On Monday night’s show, after the arrest, Colbert made some cracks about his abs.
‘This story started tragic, but then it very quickly added weird because when authorities initially released security photos of the suspect, the internet reaction was swift and horny,’ Colbert said during his monologue.
‘You know guy’s Italian because you could grate parmesan on those abs,’ Colbert joked about UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting suspect Luigi Mangione

Following suit, on his Monday show, Jimmy Kimmel also had some good quips about Mangione
‘And this guy they caught down in Pennsylvania… he’s got social media, and we’ve been able to see it, and holy happy trial, Batman!’ Colbert continued, as picture of Mangione posing shirtless flashed across the screen.

Following suit, on his late-night show on Monday, Jimmy Kimmel also had some good quips about Mangione.
While he didn’t focus on Mangione’s looks, he did crack some jokes about the suspected killer’s name.
‘I think we can all agree that no one could have imagined this suspect would have a name as funny as Luigi Mangione,’ Kimmel admitted on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
‘With a lot of murderers, or alleged murderers, when you arrest them, you have to use the middle name,’ he continued.
‘Like, we don’t need Luigi Wayne Mangione, it’s not necessary.’

He also joked about the fact that Mangione was arrested at a McDonald’s.
‘Doesn’t everyone look suspicious in a McDonald’s?’ Kimmel teased.
‘Just sitting down and eating there is suspicious at McDonald’s,’ he added.
When Mangione was bundled into court by a horde of sheriff’s deputies Tuesday afternoon in Altoona, PA, he yelled out his disapproval for cops.
He could be heard roaring about cops being ‘completely out of touch’ and ‘insulting the intelligence of the American people.’
Mangione could also be seen baring his teeth as he was pushed inside a door.
