Amy Schumer addressed concerns about her and Chris Fischer’s marriage on Monday.
The comedian posted a lengthy update via Instagram Reels breaking down her recent weight loss — and clarifying that her slimdown is not related to the state of her relationship.
“Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism,” the “I Feel Pretty” star, 44, wrote.
Schumer, who revealed her husband’s autism diagnosis in 2019, added, “Fingers crossed we make it through. He’s the best.”
In her caption, she asked her followers, “Questions?”
The Golden Globe winner and Fischer, 45, both appeared in the video as their 6-year-old son, Gene, gave a “bedroom tour.”
When the little one called Schumer “funny” at one point in the footage, Fischer agreed.
The little one went on to adorably highlight his “super cool race cars,” his bicycle and “lots of Legos,” with Schumer’s statement written over the footage in white text.
Schumer’s followers praised her “honesty and transparency” — but Judd Apatow joked he “need[ed] a larger type face with more contrast.”
She shared a screenshot of the statement to her Story as well.
The Emmy winner’s social media upload comes as divorce speculation swirls, seven years into her and Fischer’s union.
Schumer’s rep confirmed to People last month that the duo are “committed to the relationship” while “privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have.”
The actress, however, fueled rumors by ditching her wedding ring in Instagram snaps shared over the weekend.
She and Fischer tied the knot in February 2018 in Malibu, Calif., three months after the couple went public with their romance.
Schumer has spoken candidly about their connection over the years, even admitting on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2022 that it felt “hard to have sex when you’re married.”
In addition to mentioning her marriage in Monday’s video, Schumer set the record straight on her 50-pound weight loss, crediting her transformation with a need to “survive” Cushing syndrome not “look hot.”
Schumer revealed her struggles with the disease, which “occurs when your body makes too much of the hormone cortisol over a long period of time,” in 2024 after the “internet chime[d] in” and helped her get diagnosed.
