Andy Cohen reveals 'terrible' Bravo reunion appearance that sparked weight-loss drug transformation

Andy Cohen credits “The Valley” Season 2 reunion with inspiring his recent physical transformation.

The Bravo executive told Sheinelle Jones and Jenna Bush Hager on the “Today” show Friday that he began taking a weight-loss drug because he didn’t “look [his] best” at the May sit-down, which aired in July.

“After that, I was like, ‘I’ve got to get my act together,’” the “Watch What Happens Live” host, 57, recalled.

Cohen noted, “I couldn’t button my suits, it was so bad.”

He added that it is “terrible” being in front of cameras and “looking at a freaking monitor of ourselves every single day.”

On top of “microdosing a GLP-1,” the Emmy winner started “a real fitness journey.”

“[I am] being so much more deliberate about what I put in my mouth, how I work out,” he explained to viewers.

Cohen opened up about his slimdown for the first time on his “Radio Andy” show earlier this month.

“I was really unhappy with my weight,” he said at the time. “My doctor … had recommended a GLP-1 a few times to not only address what I was feeling about my weight, but treat plaque in my arteries and high blood pressure.”

After the producer “finally said yes” to the drug, it “really helped with [his] cravings” as he became “more disciplined with [his] diet and with working out.”

While chatting with listeners later that same week, Cohen revealed the “all-time high” weight he reached — nearly 190 pounds — before “suddenly los[ing] 25 pounds” on semaglutide.

Six years before the reveal, Cohen spoke on the “Today” show about dropping 12 pounds by cutting back on alcohol.

“This summer, I had a moment where … I really felt like my suits were getting tight,” he explained in the 2019 interview.

“It was beach season and I was wearing, like, button-downs to the beach,” Cohen remembered. “I’m like, ‘I’m not this guy, I’m not doing this.’”

On Friday, the journalist credited his two children — son Benjamin, 6, and daughter Lucy, 3 — with being a major motivation in his ongoing health journey.
