Ant and Dec were joined by Mr Blobby on Monday as they filmed a hilarious skit for Britain’s Got Talent.

The Georgie Duo, both 47, were seen giggling while standing on set in central London, while the comedic pink and yellow character was its usual larger-than-life self.

It’s said that the scene had to be reshot 12 times as Ant and Dec couldn’t stop laughing at Mr Blobby’s antics.

Mr Blobby first came to prominence on variety show  Noel’s House Party, with it now reported that the original 1990s costume is for sale in an auction on eBay for nearly £60,000.

And Ant and Dec certainly enjoying Mr Blobby’s company as they smiled away while chatting to crew and the production team backstage.

Dec was also seen donning a pair of black glasses as he took a closer look at some documents alongside his co-host.

Keeping things casual for filming, Dec donned a white and grey checked shirt, dark jeans and black lace-up boots.

While Ant was seen in a black T-shirt and black zip-up jacket.

Meanwhile, a man wearing the Mr Blobby suit was seen making his way to the stage door after filming with crew members.

It’s said that the iconic character threw itself down the stars as it put on a show for the ITV talent series.

It comes after new judge Bruno Tonioli made an awkward gaffe during the first day of filming earlier this week as he pushed the golden buzzer too early.

Bruno created some trouble when he pushed the buzzer too early for one act, warm-up act Adam Khan reported.

They said Bruno had pressed the Golden Buzzer too early to avoid being beaten to the chase by Simon and Alesha Dixon, and so had pressed it during the act.

As a result, the moment had to be recorded all over again so that the cameras could be set up properly.

Adam tweeted: ‘So… I just witnessed #BGT history!!! An act came on… it was pretty clear Alesha and Simon both wanted to press the#GoldenBuzzer…

‘So Bruno beat them to it and pressed it *during the act*! They were performing with confetti falling on them and the BGT theme playing in the back!’

‘We now have to re-record the #GoldenBuzzer moment because no cameras were properly in place as nobody expected it to happen during the act.

Elsewhere inside the first day of auditions, Ant and Dec introduced the four judges to the stage as they walked out to Survivor’s Eye Of The Tiger.

Jesting that Simon has ‘teased’ him with the job for years, one fan filmed from the audience as Bruno told the audience: ‘Thank you very, very much. I am thrilled to be here.

Turning to Amanda and Alesha, he continued: ‘Look at these girls, they are stunning. And my old friend Simon, what an honour it is to finally work with you, he’s teased me with this for years, years and years and years.

‘Honestly, I am thrilled to be here. Emotional, and very, very nervous.’

While Alesha then shared: ‘Well, do you know what Bruno? I think you should have a go at pressing the buzzer.’

The judges and audience then counted him down as the pro pushed on the buzzer, with Alesha adding: ‘Welcome to the show’, before he thanked his fellow panel and gave them each a hug.

It comes after it was reported Bruno would triple the salary he received on Strictly Come Dancing by joining the ITV judging panel.

The former Strictly judge replaced David Walliams, who left the show last year, after ITV bosses who wanted comedian Alan Carr were overruled by boss Simon Cowell.

Bruno, who is said to be ‘delighted’ to return to Saturday night prime time TV in the UK, will now overshadow his former Strictly co-stars wage by three times with his reported £850,000 pay packet.

Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke are all believed to earn £250,000 per series on the Strictly judging panel.

Panel: It comes after Britain's Got Talent unveiled their judging line-up on Tuesday as the show kicked off for another year - with Bruno (far-left) officially joining the panel
