Ariana Madix cries as she tells Tom Schwartz they are NOT ‘friends anymore’ on Vanderpump Rules

Ariana Madix got emotional as she broke off her friendship with Tom Schwartz, after finding out he knew about her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss during the explosive season finale of Vanderpump Rules.

After he crashed a girls’ night out, the reality star, 37, expressed to Schwartz how hurtful it was that Sandoval, 39, publicly apologized for causing boycotts at their bars, Schwartz & Sandy’s and TomTom, before even addressing the allegations that he cheated on his partner of nine years.

To begin their conversation, the TV personality told Schwartz: ‘Can I start by saying something to you? If I hear anything about him feeling down and you feeling bad for him, I’m just going to get up and walk away.’

‘I’m not here to advocate for him. I’m p**sed at Sandoval, I feel like he exploited my kindness,’ replied Schwartz. ‘Also, our business, that we put our hearts and souls into.’

‘Why would somebody want to give their money to that man?’ Madix fired back. ‘He f**ked up your [business] family. He didn’t give a single flying f**k about your family. What did he think was going to f**kng happen? He was going to cheat on me and walk away unscathed?’ 

Schwartz, 40, went on to say he was ‘f**king sorry’ but hated that he was ‘being painted as this coconspirator.’ 

‘It’s f**king devastating to me,’ he insisted.  

The actress proceeded to tell him that she ‘will not have mutual friends with’ Sandoval, which means they she is ‘not’ his ‘friend anymore.’ 

‘I was always assured he was handling it, doing the right thing,’ he claimed, which clearly rubbed Madix the wrong way.

She fired: ‘I’m not an it! I was his f**king ride or die, defended him, to you even.’ 

Through tears, she explained: ‘I wish that I didn’t miss him. I really wish that I didn’t miss him, but I feel like what I miss is not real.’ 

Earlier in the episode, Schwartz’s ex-wife, Katie Maloney, confronted him over how ‘f**ked up’ it was that he knew about Schwartz’s affair.

After learning of the pair’s one-night stand in the fall, he said he was ‘disgusted’ and told Sandoval to ‘break up’ with Ariana on several occasions. 

‘You’ve been his b**ch boy for how many years? By you being so closely associated with him, you’re going to lose a lot of friends,’ Maloney shot back. 

In March, Sandoval made the surprising decision to plead with fans not to attack his loved ones and colleagues over his actions, before addressing or apologizing publicly for his infidelity.

‘Hey, I fully understand and deserve ur anger & disappointment towards me, but please leave [Tom] Schwartz, my friends, and family out of this situation…’ he wrote on Instagram, at the time. 

Sandoval then clarified that Schwartz, his longtime best friend and business partner, had only learned of his infidelity ‘very recently’ and ‘did not condone’ his choices.

‘This was a very personal thing. Also, Schwartz & Sandy’s might have my name on it, but also there are 3 other partners and 20 employees, who especially rely on the restaurant for income for them and their families,’ Sandoval said, nodding to his new bar and TomTom, which opened back in 2018.

The actor went on to say he was a ‘small part of a much bigger thing’ and pleaded with his 961,000 followers to direct their ‘anger towards’ him and not his associates.

‘They did nothing wrong. I’m so sorry that my partners, Greg, Brett, and Schwartz and our employees have to suffer for my actions. I will be taking a step back & taking a hiatus out of respect for my employees and partners. I need some time to address everything else,’ he concluded. ‘Sorry for everything.’

During their breakup, which aired on their Bravo series, Madix Sandoval that she wanted him ‘to die’ during an epic confrontation, captured by cameras.

‘I regret every moment that I stood up for you, defended you, supported you. You’re worth nothing and I want you to feel that deep in your soul,’ she told him during the brutal conversation.

After the finale aired, fans of the series took to social media to express their opinions with many praising Ariana for being ‘strong’ and ‘elegant.’ 

Others called this the ‘most epic break-up moment in reality TV history.’
