As 'Gender Affirming Care' Gets Scrutiny, the Business Goes Online – HotAir

I suppose you have to hand it to the entrepreneurs, if nothing else. As gender clinics based at hospitals and clinics attract scrutiny (far too little), an alphabet activist with a flair for the entrepreneurial has built a business to sell gender-bending services online.

Thank God you can’t do surgery by telemedicine, at least.

Now, one would think that diagnosing and treating “gender dysphoria” medically instead of psychologically would be a process that requires intensive efforts, if for no other reason than the fact that one is completely rewiring the hormone system in a human body, you would be entirely wrong.

Since this is Voodoo medicine anyway, and gender clinics have been prescribing hormones after one visit, it makes sense to cut out the cost of actual medical infrastructure and go straight to screwing up a person’s mind and body with dangerous meds.

The United Kingdom exports “Gender Affirming Care” to the USA.

Dr Helen Webberley (in the video) is the founder of which is now launched in the USA to help support mentally ill people (including children) who cut off their breasts and genitals.

She had her medical licence revoked because she has an ‘offshore’ gender clinic which gives/gave children access to puberty blockers.

GenderGP facilitates the provision of puberty blockers via nasal spray or injection to kids as young as eight – in contravention of the Cass Report.

Dr Helen Webberley’s online GenderGP clinic follows guidance from WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) which has been exposed for “widespread medical malpractice on children and vulnerable adults” by Robert Clarke who is a leading human rights lawyer and serves as Director of Advocacy at ADF International based in London.

That’s what Helen Webberley has been doing for years, first in the UK where she finally lost her medical license, and now in the more radical US states, where sterilizing children has become a sport for politicians and parents who want their children to be fashion accessories or who are expressing their own mental distress through medicalizing their children.

Webberley lost her license in the United Kingdom last year because she was utterly reckless and ran an illegal clinic that sterilized children as young as 9. This is, apparently, no barrier to her coming to the United States and setting up a business to do so here on an industrial scale.

Using this service is legally available in the states you would most expect it. States with politicians who talk a big game about their empathy for children, of course. And nothing says “care” more than sending them to failing, ideologically insane schools and wiping away fertility.

Of course, Webberley doesn’t need her medical license. She contracts out the diagnosis and treatment to others. Gender GP is the facilitator, and it is going strong.

There’s nothing especially shocking about the fact that it is possible to round up some doctors willing to sell their souls for money. It’s not that doctors as a class are less ethical than any other group; it’s just that in any group of people, you can find ones who are corrupt.

Rather, what is shocking is the institutional support that makes this easy. Liberals have flocked to make this a thing and are willing to spend enormous energy attacking anybody who objects to harming children.
