Aussie shoppers have been scratching their heads for months after a cult-favourite Darrell Lea chocolate block mysteriously disappeared from supermarket shelves – with many fearing it had been discontinued.
Fans of the Raspberry Bullets White Chocolate block noticed it becoming harder to find, with some reporting it had vanished entirely from Coles, Woolworths and local independent grocers.
Social media has been flooded with disappointed customers asking whether the flavour had been axed, with a few admitting they’d rationed their last blocks in case it never returned.
Now, after weeks of confusion and a wave of complaints, Darrell Lea has confirmed to the Daily Mail that the fan-favourite treat is officially returning early next year.
‘Darrell Lea made the business decision to discontinue the block, as they are constantly wanting to bring in new and exciting flavours into the range as a rotation,’ a spokesperson said.
‘With that said, they’ve listened to customer feedback and are excited to bring it back in January.’
The company added that the customer outcry was impossible to ignore.
‘We’ve actually had a few queries on this one and after popular demand, Darrell Lea will be relaunching the Raspberry Bullets White Chocolate block in January next year,’ the spokesperson added.

Shoppers didn’t hold back their disappointment after discovering it had vanished.
‘I checked three different stores before realising it was gone – I was genuinely gutted,’ a shopper told the Daily Mail.
‘It’s the only chocolate I buy on repeat, so when it disappeared I was shattered. I thought it was never coming back,’ another said.
The Raspberry Bullets block has built a cult following thanks to its nostalgic flavour and its place in many Aussies’ weekly chocolate rotation.
Its disappearance sparked everything from frantic searches to desperate posts in community Facebook groups, with some customers begging Darrell Lea to reconsider.
Now the brand has confirmed the block will officially return to shelves in January – it’s safe to say fans won’t waste any time stocking up once it’s back.
