Bailey Smith has finally broken his silence on his romance with Tammy Hembrow.
The AFL star, 24, opened up about his brief romance with the 31-year-old fitness influencer during an interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O Show on Monday.
He confirmed the pair are ‘just friends’ and revealed that Tammy won’t be accompanying him to the Brownlow Medal.
‘What’s going on [with you and Tammy]? Are you taking Tammy tonight or not?’ host Kyle Sandilands asked.
Bailey responded, ‘No, I’m not. No. I didn’t want to bore her with footy all night. She’s not a big footy fan. And we’re just mates.’
‘So, you guys aren’t exclusive or boyfriend and girlfriend?’ co-host Jackie Henderson questioned.

The AFL star then revealed he was taking his jiu-jitsu instructor to the annual awards night.
‘I’m taking my jiu-jitsu coach. He’s a good man. He’s one of my best mates. And he’ll be blind all night. Yeah, he’s having a big one,’ he said.
Daily Mail exclusively revealed Bailey and Tammy went on a date on the Gold Coast in early August, enjoying a swanky meal at Pan–Asian hotspot Rick Shores at Burleigh Heads.
Bailey later headed back to the Glitter Strip, where they showed plenty of affection towards each other on a walk to Nobby Beach.
Tammy later travelled to Melbourne for a romantic dinner at ritzy restaurant Entrecôte in Prahran, seemingly confirming their romance via Instagram.
The fitness influencer’s possible appearance with Bailey at the Brownlow Medal next week had previously been a hot topic.
Their romance came just days after Tammy claimed she was happily single following her shock split from husband Matthew Zukowski.

Matt and Tammy got engaged in December 2023 after just three months of dating.
They tied the knot almost a year later, in November 2024, but breakup rumours began to circulate earlier this year, ending in a divorce announcement in June.
By August, Tammy had confirmed her new romance with Bailey.
In a recent episode of Matt’s Where’s Your Head At podcast, he claimed to have been the one to end the relationship for ‘mental health’ reasons.
He also added that he had been hurt by the speed with which Tammy moved on only two months after their split announcement.
