Daily Mail has contacted Laila’s representative for an update.
Laila appeared on Benidorm in 2018, and ended up finding love with her co-star Adam Gillen.
The couple got engaged in 2023, six years later, with Adam having got down on one knee during their trip to Croatia.
The actress shared the happy news on Instagram and wrote: ‘A whole week of being a diiiirty flirttttyyy thirty FIANCÉ !!!!!!! [ring emoji] [nine heart emojis]’
The actress proudly showed off her ring which was a huge oval diamond on a gold band in several snaps.
Adam played fan favourite Liam Conroy, who has appeared on the show since its fourth season back in 2011.
Liam was the son of transvestite barman Les, played by Tim Healy, and is known for his goofy nature.
Benidorm originally launched on ITV in 2007, going on to win National Television Awards as well as a BAFTA before being axed in 2018 after an 11-year run.

Away from Benidorm, Laila built a varied career. She starred as teacher Asma Farooqi in the fifth series of Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge, which was cancelled in November 2022.
Channel 4 said in a statement: ‘We’re immensely proud of Ackley Bridge, which over the last five series has received praise for the way in which it has tackled real-life situations and issues in an irreverent and insightful way.
‘However, Channel 4 has a responsibility to continuously look for new and innovative ideas and we have made the difficult decision to not greenlight another series.
‘We’d like to thank The Forge, the wonderful cast and all those involved in the show’s success over the years and we look forward to working with them again on future projects.’
Last year, Laila appeared in the soap Doctors as Maria Jaziri.
On stage, she has also showcased her talent in productions such as Bend It Like Beckham: The Musical, The Selfish Giant, and Starlight Express.
