Bethenny Frankel roasts 'stupid' people who spend $7 a day on coffee

A morning roast.

“People who spend money out on coffee are stupid,” according to multimillionaire Bethenny Frankel.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, who is reportedly worth an estimated $80 million, ranted about coffee shop costumers in a TikTok Monday, calling them “dumb.”

“It’s bad for the environment, it is a waste of money and it could be like $8, $9 for these lavender lattes, the Nutella. It’s so stupid,” she told her followers while standing in the kitchen of a sprawling estate, dressed in a luxurious bathrobe.

As she made her own iced beverage, Frankel, 54, continued to harp on those who are “spending all this money on coffee,” especially “young girls.”

She urged them to “take the $7 that you do in a day … and multiply it by 365,” adding, “It’s a number. It’s a real number, so don’t be dumb.”

The natural foods chef, who founded Skinnygirl, also honed in on the idea that “somehow, everyone has convinced themselves that all these sweetened matcha and banana and blueberry and all that stuff … is some version of health.”

According to Frankel, who also pooh-poohed “macadamia milk and oat milk,” “it’s like having a milkshake.”

The “Shark Tank” guest star suggested that her fans “make it at home; make it yourself. It’s delicious! Get your own fun barista going.”

Frankel’s remarks elicited backlash from commenters who argued that the “sweet treat” gives a lot of people “something to look forward to.”

“If it brings me joy in this hellscape it isn’t a waste of anything,” one of them wrote, as another added, “The amount of happiness the $7 gives me. Nope. not gonna give that up.”

Someone else pointed out, “A lot of people can’t afford a vacation a new home new car… it’s a lipstick economy.”

A fourth netizen quipped, “love ya girl, but im clinging into [sic] sanity by a thread and that dunkin run gets me through 😂.”

One person even explained, “I’d rather go for a coffee or matcha than go to a bar for a drink.”

Others took aim at Frankel’s unattainable wealth, writing things like, “Do you own a $1000 coffee machine?? 😂” and “Nice chandelier though!”
