Drama: Britain's Got Talent's Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon are reported in a fresh feud with fellow judges Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell

Britain’s Got Talent’s Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon are reported in a fresh feud with fellow judges Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell.

The foursome are said to be divided over the golden buzzer rules – with Simon having pressed his twice, shortly after newcomer Bruno did the same thing.

The coveted golden button sends one act straight through to the semi-finals with each judge – plus hosts Ant and Dec – only allowed to press it once throughout the series.

However, a source claimed that pals Simon, 63, and Bruno, 67, are ‘riding roughshod over rules’, with Amanda, 51, and Alesha, 44, allegedly demanding that they should get to press the buzzer twice too.

According to The Sun, head judge Simon was left impressed with Liverpudlian dance group Unity, pressing the golden buzzer for them despite having used it for another act.

He said: ‘We don’t have any more Golden Buzzers, but sometimes I think you should break the rules. I’m in so much trouble right now — but you deserved it.’

A source said of the tensions: ‘Simon has already had a tricky time getting Bruno on board while keeping his fellow judges happy.  He was the one who was determined to sign up his long-time mate, though Amanda, in particular, was keen on her friend Alan Carr to get the role.’

With the divide coming hot on the heals of the ladies’ pay row over newbie Bruno, the insider added: ‘Now Amanda and Alesha are having to stand firm again as it seems Simon and Bruno are riding roughshod over rules.’

MailOnline have contacted Britain’s Got Talent representatives for comment.

It comes weeks after Amanda and Alesha reportedly refused to sign contracts for the latest series of Britain’s Got Talent.

The duo were said to be furious that new judge Bruno, who is replacing David Walliams, will see his new salary match their own – an estimated £850,000.

According to The Sun Amanda and Alesha sent the latest series into chaos with bosses scrambling to secure the TV favourites ahead of filming in London last month.

A source told the publication at the time: ‘Amanda has been on BGT for 17 years, while Alesha is going into her eleventh year. They don’t think it’s fair a newcomer could walk into the show and be handed the same deal as them’.

‘It’s a bit of a headache for BGT given filming for the next series begins at the London Palladium on Tuesday’.

‘Bruno was still ironing out his contract on Friday too so it’s all very much down to the wire’.

It comes after it was reported Bruno would triple the salary he received on Strictly Come Dancing by joining the ITV judging panel.

The former Strictly judge Bruno replace David Walliams who left the show last year after ITV bosses who wanted comedian Alan Carr were overruled by boss Simon Cowell.

Bruno, who is said to be ‘delighted’ to return to Saturday night prime time TV in the UK, will now overshadow his former Strictly co-stars wage by three times.

Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke are all believed to earn £250,000 per series on the Strictly judging panel.
