Billie Eilish is sporting — or should we say spotting — a new look.
The nine-time Grammy winner wore an uncharacteristically revealing style in a holiday Instagram Story shared Sunday by her musician friend Lucy Healey.
Eilish, 23, wore a plunging navy-and-white polka-dot tank top paired with jeans and a dainty pendant necklace, a far cry from the oversized streetwear that has defined her wardrobe since she burst onto the music scene in 2015.
The Los Angeles native — who turns 24 on Thursday — styled her dark hair in a ponytail with loose, face-framing pieces and posed with a milk bottle held to her mouth.
Eilish has been candid about why she’s favored loose-fitting clothing throughout her rise to fame. “I was wearing all these baggy clothes, and it was my style, but at the same time, it was how I could feel comfortable in my body and not feel tied to how my body looks,” she told Complex in 2024.
The singer has also experimented with more feminine fashion, notably during her “Happier Than Ever” era in 2021, which saw her in pinup styles and platinum blond hair.
At the Met Gala that year, Eilish swept up the museum’s steps in a pale peach tulle Oscar de la Renta ball gown equipped with a dramatic train.
“This is the first thing I’ve done in this realm at all,” she told E! on the red carpet. “I feel like I’ve grown so much in the last few years and my confidence … I’m so excited. I have butterflies. I couldn’t be happier.”
In 2023, she clapped back at online trolls who criticized her shifting aesthetic. “I spent the first 5 years of my career getting absolutely OBLITERATED by you fools for being boy ish and dressing how i did & constantly being told I’d be hotter if I acted like a woman,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “And now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or fitting, i CHANGED and am a sellout.”
Eilish wrapped her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour in San Francisco last month after breaking attendance records in Sydney and Prague.
In October, the “Lunch” singer donated $11.5 million from the tour to charity, announcing the gift while accepting the Music Innovator Award at the Wall Street Journal Magazine Innovator Awards.
She also has a 3D concert film co-directed with James Cameron, which hits theaters in March 2026.
