Britney Spears suffered a gruesome knee injury after falling down the stairs at a friend’s house.
The “Gimme More” singer took to Instagram over the weekend to share a video of herself dancing in a sparkly mini dress, nude heels and white fingerless gloves.
However, the pop star had a bandage wrapped around her right knee.
In the caption of her post, Spears, 43, explained the apparent injury to her fans after explaining that her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, had left to travel back to Hawaii.
“This is the way I express myself and pray through art … father who art in heaven … I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day !!!” she wrote.
“Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house … it was horrible … it snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now it’s snapped in !!!Thank u god,” the “Toxic” singer concluded.
Last month, Page Six exclusively reported that Spears has been refusing help from people as fears about her mental health and living conditions continue to grow.
“She has people like staff, security guards, assistants, no real friends,” an insider told us.
One source told us that though Spears “has moments of clarity and moments where it feels like a roller coaster,” she is “still the sweetest, kindest person.”
They added: “We’re always concerned about Britney and her well-being and making sure if she’s OK. The question is, ‘How do we help her?’”
The Grammy winner’s friends are also reportedly worried that Spears is residing in a “messy mansion” covered in dog poop.
“Her house is a mess. She doesn’t clean up after the dogs, she doesn’t have someone there cleaning every day, and she just isn’t functioning like an adult would function,” a source told the Daily Mail last month.
In November 2021, Spears famously broke free of her 13-year legal conservatorship.
A source recently told Us Weekly that the “Crossroads” actress’ relationship with her dad, Jamie Spears, is “nonexistent” and there is no way she is open to reconciling, while Britney allegedly has a more “complicated” relationship with her mom, Lynne Spears.
As for the mom of two’s siblings, Britney is planning to meet with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, and the singer has remained close with her brother, Bryan Spears.
Britney and her sons, Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, are reportedly “healing together.”
