Cody Mauch got married this offseason.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive lineman Cody Mauch has a little extra to celebrate this offseason.

Mauch married his wife, Carley Frederickson, at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo, North Dakota on June 21. The Buccaneers recently offered congratulations on social media. Mauch has been a fan favorite of the Buccaneers since he joined the team in 2023.

“Congratulations, Carley and Cody,” the Buccaneers wrote on Instagram.

Mauch and Frederickson began dating when they attended North Dakota State, and Mauch announced his engagement at training camp last year. The Hankinson, North Dakota native became the Buccaneers’ second-round pick in 2023, and he has started 24 games in his career thus far.

“I don’t know why, but proposing was really nerve-wracking,” Mauch told Trevyn Gray of the Tampa Bay Times in 2024.

Mauch then proved again he can handle the nerve-wracking life on an NFL field as he played 99% of the team’s offensive snaps and 18% of the team’s special teams snaps in 2024. He earned a 75.4 overall grade from Pro Football Focus for 18th in the league, and PFF graded his pass blocking at 76.5 and run blocking at 69.9.

Mauch also received votes for ESPN’s interior linemen rankings, and he was the only Buccaneers interior lineman to do so. His third season with the Buccaneers kicks off when the team opens training camp on July 24.

Cody Mauch Offers Free Football Camp in Home State

While back in his home state this offseason, Mauch offered his second annual football camp for free to youth.

“Yeah that’s kind of the biggest thing that what we wanted to do with it when we started it,” Mauch told KVRR in June. “Not very often are there free camps especially with, you know, what I would say are some pretty good coaches, good high school coaches, high school players who know what they’re doing, NDSU guys and NFL guys.”

“You don’t want kids to miss it on this opportunity, even if it’s, you know, $ 25, $50, maybe then some people are hesitant to do it. So, that’s one thing we really love doing is just doing it for free,” Mauch added.

Mauch grew up going to former NFL starter Phil Hansen’s camps in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Hansen played defensive end for the Buffalo Bills from 1991 to 2001 after his collegiate career at NDSU.

Mauch expects year three to go better than ever with the Buccaneers amid his jump from an FCS powerhouse to the NFL.

“You get more comfortable in there,” Mauch told KVRR. “Right away, rookie year, thrown into the fire…you learn from that first year into the second year and then hopefully do the same now, second year into third year. You take 2,400-2,500 reps in these past two years. Just get more comfortable in there with that many reps.”

Mauch played five seasons for the Bison in college from 2018 to 2022 where he helped the team win three national titles. He earned FCS Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2022, and he earned a 93.5 grade from PFF as a draft prospect.
