Cynthia Erivo bared her midriff in a gravity-defying custom Jean Paul Gaultier crop top at the “Wicked: For Good” world premiere Tuesday in São Paulo, Brazil.
The British actress, 38, wore a daring charcoal ensemble designed by Duran Lantink, the French luxury house’s new creative director.
The look featured a sculptural turtleneck crop top that appeared to float over Erivo’s toned torso, paired with a dramatic ruffled maxi skirt and statement belt reading “Junior,” the title of the designer’s spring 2026 collection.
“We Back Baby 😎 thanks @jeanpaulgaultier for the custom armor 👌🏾WICKED FOR GOOD 🥰,” her stylist Jason Bolden wrote on Instagram, sharing the striking look.
On Stories, the celebrity stylist posted behind-the-scenes snaps of Erivo’s towering Lucite heels and David Webb jewelry, along with the Gaultier design team’s illustrations of the custom top.
Erivo piled on the bling at the premiere, wearing multiple crystal, diamond, and platinum rings by the luxury jeweler, along with a chunky crystal bracelet and coordinating earrings.
She completed the outfit with a fresh set of her signature ultra-long acrylic nails by Shea Osei, this time with a delicate floral design.
“Oi Brazil 💚🧹 Está acontecendo!” (“Hi Brazil 💚🧹 It’s happening!”), the Tony Award winner captioned her own post.
Erivo attended the premiere alongside co-star Jonathan Bailey and director Jon M. Chu. Co-star Ariana Grande was noticeably absent after flight maintenance issues prevented her from arriving on time.
“i am so heartbroken that i’m unable to be there with you all. we sincerely tried everything we could and i apologize from the bottom of my heart,” Grande wrote in an Instagram Story post on Tuesday explaining her plight.
The “Wicked” sequel has been generating major buzz ahead of its Nov. 21 theatrical release.
The film — and its fashion-loving stars — will continue the global premiere tour with stops in Paris, London, Singapore and New York City later this month. If the first installment’s press tour was any indication, there are plenty of showstopping looks ahead.
