Lunchbox shocker for a dad with the school calling him and telling him to collect his son because of the huge error: ‘It looked like sparkling water’

  • US dad Will Meyers accidentally packed Guinness with his son’s sparkling water
  • Was shocked when school rang him to pick his son up and shared in TikTok clip

A dad has shared his horror after he found out he accidentally packed a beer in his son’s lunchbox when the school rang him up to tell him to collect his child.

American dad and popular money mindset coach Will Meyers posted a video on TikTok, where he shared exactly how the mix-up happened.

Will explained that he accidentally packed one can of black Liquid Death (a sparkling water brand) and one Guinness beer can, and the reason why the mix-up occurred is because they are both black.

In the video, Will said: ‘Well, I gotta go pick up my kid from school today because I made a big mistake.

‘Whenever my son was born, the best advice I ever got was you know more than you think you do, but today is not that day, let me show you.’

Will then went on to say that one of the black cans is sparkling water and ‘he [his son] likes for me to pack that in his lunch because it’s awesome’.

However, the other black can is ‘not sparkling water’, but rather a can of Guinness.

‘It looks like it’s sparkling water, but it’s definitely not sparkling water,’ Will said.

‘And now I’ve gotta go pick up my kid from school and try to explain this situation.’

It wasn’t long before the clip went viral, with more than 2.7million people watching it and sharing their thoughts.

The majority of the comments were full of people empathising with the dad, and writing things like ‘lol’ and sharing emojis.

Others shared their own ‘dad horror stories’ of things they have packed.

‘My dad sent me to school with a Mike’s hard lemonade in kindergarten, so I think it’s just a normal dad thing,’ one person wrote.

‘I sent two packs of cigarettes in a bag of paper plates and napkins to my daughter’s class,’ another added.

A teacher said it’s a common mistake, writing: ‘A kid brought in a can of White Claw thinking it was regular sparkling water, too’.

One mum said she accidentally said her kid to school with his sibling’s nappy bag, instead of his book bag.
