Love took center stage this weekend as Dancing With the Stars pro Britt Stewart and CODA actor Daniel Durant said ‘I do’ in a dazzling ceremony packed with Hollywood sparkle.
The couple, both 35, tied the knot on Saturday, August 23, in Santa Margarita, California, where the guest list looked like a DWTS reunion.
Derek Hough and wife Hayley Erbert were front and center — with Erbert pulling double duty as Stewart’s maid of honor — while Julianne Hough, Alfonso Ribeiro, Jenna Johnson, Rylee Arnold, Ezra Sosa, Emma Slater, Alan Bersten, Daniella Karagach, Brandon Armstrong, and Witney Carson all turned out to cheer them on, per People.
The wedding party had its own twist: Stewart’s former season 29 partner Johnny Weir slipped into the lineup as a bridesmaid, while Durant’s CODA family — Oscar winners Troy Kotsur and Marlee Matlin — added Hollywood prestige to the celebration.
It’s a full-circle romance for Stewart and Durant, who first teamed up as dance partners on season 31 of DWTS before their on-screen chemistry blossomed into the real thing.
By December 2023, they were officially engaged, with Stewart gushing on Instagram, ‘Ending 2023 engaged! I’m still pinching myself.’

Now, less than a year later, the couple’s fairytale is complete — and they sealed it surrounded by the people who watched their love story unfold from the very beginning.
‘I never could imagine what my wedding would be like and it still feels a little bit like a dream. But it’s real. It’s happening!’ Durant told People.
Stewart added, ‘I was never the little girl that had big dreams of a fairy-tale wedding. So when I describe our wedding, I want it to feel like an abundance of love connecting everyone there!’
The pair shared a private first look before the ceremony, then exchanged James Allen bands and signed their vows in American Sign Language — a touching nod to Durant, who is deaf.
Stewart continued: ‘We want to feel the connection between the both of us, our family, our closest friends and the nature that will surround us.
‘Our vision for our wedding was to really celebrate and experience the love that we have created and continue to create with each other!’
Durant and Stewart’s love story kicked off when they were paired together on season 31 of DWTS in 2022.
The duo danced their way into the semifinals before finishing in fifth place, but their chemistry outlasted the competition.

Durant went Instagram official with a sweet selfie of the two, captioning it, ‘My Valentine. Happy Valentine’s Day!’
That December, the CODA star pulled off a romantic proposal during a Christmas Day hike in Lake Arrowhead, California, surrounded by both of their families.
Stewart flashed her sparkling new ring on Instagram with the caption, ‘Forever!!’
The heartfelt moment came after each family member shared what they were grateful for — and Durant closed it out by asking Stewart to be his wife.
‘I was the last one — and I started talking about the year, about us meeting and everything that happens in life,’ he told People.
‘I just feel like there’s balance. She sees me. She knows my culture, my language, and understands everything about me,’ said Durant, admitting he started ‘welling up’ during the proposal.
‘We were both emotional, overwhelmed with joy and at peace knowing that this would eventually be part of our story,’ added Stewart. ‘It felt like magic, but at the same time, it felt right and normal.’
