Dave Grohl recently made an unexpected appearance at a barbecue.
One partygoer took to TikTok to share her shock at seeing the 57-year-old singer-songwriter serving up plates of food at the backyard gathering.
A social media user named @maggiemaytok wrote over an eight-second clip, ‘My friend invited me to his house and Dave Grohl cooked us bbq.’
She added in the caption, ‘It was SO good.’
Grohl – who was seen with wife Jordyn Blum in February – wore a short-sleeved black T-shirt, black pants, black sneakers, and a black baseball cap in the snippet.
He also had on a pair of glasses and sported a greying beard while chatting up guests poolside.

It comes after Grohl put on a united front with his wife last month at a pre-Grammys celebration.
In 2024 the musician publicly announced that he’d fathered a child outside of his marriage to Blum.
Since the shock admission, the couple has been working to salvage the union, with sources sharing in February 2025 that Jordyn, 49, has ‘forgiven’ her husband.
Grohl’s lovechild, two in July, shares the same birthday as his and his wife’s 11-year-old daughter Ophelia.
Their 23rd wedding anniversary is on August 2.
The music artist revealed his affair and secret child in a September 10, 2024 Instagram post.
He wrote at the time, ‘I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
‘I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
‘We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved as we move forward together.’

In addition to Ophelia, Grohl and Blum are also parents to Violet, 20 in April, and Harper, 17 in April.
In October 2024 a source told People magazine that the situation has been ‘rough’ for the mom-of-three.
‘Her mind is not on her marriage though,’ the person added at the time. ‘She doesn’t trust Dave. She’s not wearing her wedding ring.’
It was noted that Blum was ‘focused on her own life and her girls.’
A source later told the outlet in November 2024 that Grohl was focused on working things out with his wife and their daughters, and that divorce is off the table.
The source said: ‘He’s no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife.’
