David, Victoria Beckham share first public comments since son Brooklyn's scathing attack

David and Victoria Beckham are looking back on some “good memories” with their son Brooklyn Beckham in their first public comments since his bombshell post attacking them.

The two stars left comments under British photographer Platon’s Friday Instagram post, where he shared two throwback photos of David, 50.

In the first photo, which was taken in 2006, David can be seen standing with his back facing the camera as he showed off his tattoos of his children Romeo, Cruz and Brooklyn’s names.

“Good memories,” the former soccer star wrote under the photographer’s post.

“Brings back great memories!” Victoria, 51, echoed in her own comment.

It appears the photographer shared the throwback photos in response to Brooklyn’s scathing statement about his family’s ongoing feud.

“Victoria arrived with Brooklyn, who was seven years old, Romeo, who was four and Cruz, who was just a baby. Brooklyn and Romeo charged into the studio wearing football kits, kicking balls, doing headers and other tricks,” Platon captioned the post, in part, explaining the context behind the pictures.

“While Victoria was busy with the children, I started work with David. At one point, Brooklyn ran on set with his football under his arm and hugged his dad’s right leg. Then, Romeo joined his older brother.”

“Then, Victoria also appeared with baby Cruz in her arms. The whole family turned away from us for a private heartfelt group hug. It was a poignant thing to see—this spontaneous moment of affection happening on a giant photography set in front of 60 people,” the caption continued.

“Celebrity comes with a heavy price and often it is family members who also pay.”

Platon continued, noting how viewers can still see David’s “love of his children tattooed onto his back” and saluting him.

Brooklyn, 26, shocked the internet on Monday after he publicly declared he does “not want to reconcile with my family” and accused them of fabricating “countless lies” in their attempts to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.

Among the list of offenses he claimed his parents committed against the young couple, he claimed Victoria — who allegedly “couldn’t stand” Peltz, 31, long before her and Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding — gave up on creating Peltz’s wedding dress at the last minute.

He went on to allege that his mother “hijacked” his and Peltz’s wedding dance in a “deeply hurtful” stunt where she danced “very inappropriately” on him, leaving the hot sauce entrepreneur “humiliated.”

David and Victoria have not yet directly commented on their eldest son’s statement. However, David made a vague comment about his children’s “mistakes” in his “Squawk Box” appearance on Tuesday morning.

“They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn,” he said at the time.

“That is what I try to teach my kids,” David continued. “You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes.”
