Denise Richards breaks silence on 's----y' Aaron Phypers divorce in candid video

Denise Richards addressed her “s—y” divorce from Aaron Phypers nearly two months after the latter pulled the plug on their six-year marriage.

“Hi everybody, I was just checking in to see how your summer has been going,” the Bravo star told her Instagram followers in a video posted Thursday.

“Mine’s been wonderful,” she sarcastically said, before admitting, “It’s actually been s—y. But, I’m going to pretend it’s all good.”

Richards, 54, shared that she’s been going through a “very difficult time,” adding, “It’s so hard to go through a divorce … this isn’t my first one, it’s my second one,” referring to her marriage with Charlie Sheen from 2002 to 2006.

“I’d never thought I’d get divorced again. This is why I would say, ‘Never say never,’” she continued. “There are circumstances around my divorce that are difficult to talk about, which one day I will talk about it when the time is right.

“I just want to process everything and get through this.”

Richards then went on to share that she had recently undergone reconstruction surgery.

“I was open and honest about having to have surgery for a TV show I did, and I had another surgery,” she said, explaining that she didn’t want to post about it during her divorce proceedings and “look inappropriate and seem insensitive.”

“But I also want to live my life and share that part of my life,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star continued.

Richards thanked fans for their unwavering support and for reaching out to her over the past few weeks, saying they were “helping” her through the separation.

Later that month, Richards was granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband after accusing him of domestic abuse.

“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack,” court docs obtained by Page Six read.

She alleged Phypers gave her a black eye in 2022.

The businessman vehemently denied the claims and told Us Weekly that the allegations were “conjured up” and “not true.”

He later alleged in a family letter obtained by Page Six that Richards was having an ongoing affair and dealing with a drug problem.

The reality star never responded to the allegations.

Moreover, recently, Richards has been attempting to retrieve her items from her and Phypers’ Los Angeles rental home, where he is currently living with his family.

She requested a judge order her ex to vacate the property so she can collect her belongings before he is allegedly set to be evicted on Saturday due to six months of unpaid rent.
