Denise Richards’ estranged husband Aaron Phypers has gotten two notable Hollywood names involved in his messy split from actress: her ex-husband Charlie Sheen and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate Brandi Glanville.
Phypers, 53, said in newly-filed court docs that Sheen, 60, who had been married to Richards, 54, from 2002–2006, could attest to what he calls a ‘history of not being truthful and a drug and alcohol abuse’ in testimony, Page Six reported.
Phypers has claimed that the Wild Things star abused alcohol and prescription medication in court documents.
Phypers’ included Glanville in the documents in hopes she could be ‘called to testify on Richards’ credibility and manipulative motives,’ an insider told Page Six.
Richards had not treated Glanville well, the source said, making her a potential star witness on a list of ‘people who can deny Denise Richards credibility on telling the truth.’
Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Richards, Sheen and Glanville, and all three celebs via Instagram, for further comment on this story.

Phypers told the outlet, ‘Call Brandi Glanville what you like, but she is not a liar!’
The bad blood between the Bravo alums stems from an allegation Glanville made on the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Glanville claimed she and Richards had been involved romantically, which Richards denied.
Richards is mom to three daughters – Sami, 21, Lola, 20, with Sheen; and Eloise, 14, who she adopted prior to her wedding to Phypers.
Phypers filed for divorce from the World Is Not Enough actress this past July 7, saying that they had separated three days earlier.
He told the court that ‘irreconcilable differences’ were at the heart of their split.
In the months since, both parties have publicly traded jarring accusations about the other.
Richards said in a court filing that her estranged spouse ‘repeatedly abused’ her during time together; Phypers has denied the allegations.

Phypers accused Richards of committing marital infidelity, as well as physically assaulting him and destroying his phone.
In a note Phypers penned to family and friends (later published by Page Six), Phypers called for an intervention on the actress and said that she had substance abuse issues involving prescription medication.
‘Some of you know this has been an issue for over 20 years,’ Phypers said. ‘She’s no longer eating real meals, and I’ve witnessed her pass out from substances — putting herself and others in danger, including while driving with our daughter [Eloise, 14].’
A lawyer for Richards, Brett Berman, denied the accusations, telling People that ‘Phypers has continued to harass Ms. Richards since being served with the Temporary Restraining Order by, among other things, disseminating private information from Ms. Richards’ cell phone and laptop, which he stole.’
