Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson announced on social media he will return for the 2026 NFL season.
After mulling retirement, guard Landon Dickerson will return to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 2026 NFL season.
Dickerson made his intentions to come back for the Eagles clear on social media Wednesday night. The Philadelphia guard posted two pictures of himself in an Eagles uniform on Instagram.
In the first photo, Dickerson is running out onto the field during pre-game announcements. The guard included two eagle emojis as a caption to the photos.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport posted screenshots of Dickerson’s social media post on his X account.
Dickerson is only 27 years old and has been in the league for just five years. But the guard was reportedly considering retirement this offseason after dealing with multiple injuries during 2025.
Last season, Dickerson battled a back and ankle injuries to play in 15 games. He also underwent knee surgery during 2025 training camp.
Over his NFL career, Dickerson has started 77 of his 78 games. He has started at least 15 contests each of the past four years for the Eagles.
Dickerson earned Pro Bowl honors in three of those campaigns from 2022-24.
