Melania Trump and her group of global First Ladies dumped their designer handbags worth hundreds of thousands of dollars on a table as they set the world to rights.
President Donald Trump’s wife, 55, was joined by the likes of Sierra Leonean First Lady Fatima Bio and Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, for this year’s Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition Summit.
A photo from behind the scenes of the two-day event held at the White House revealed that the women came armed with eyewateringly expensive purses from luxury fashion houses that included Hermès and Chanel.
The snap, taken by political commentator Link Lauren, showed rows of high-value handbags perched on a drab tablecloth.

One of the most high-ticket accessories on display was a rare Hermès Birkin Sellier 30 Black Box bag, which has an estimated secondhand value of over $82,500.
The black Birkin is made from calfskin leather and features palladium hardware, complete with tonal stitching, a front flap and two straps with center toggle closure.
The interior is lined with black chèvre leather and has one zip pocket with an Hermès engraved zipper pull and an open pocket on the opposite side.

First Lady of Ecuador, Lavinia Valbonesi, seemingly confirmed herself as the proud owner of the bag as she posed with it on her Instagram story.
French luxury fashion house Chanel proved a popular purse of choice for Melania’s guests.
Sara Netanyahu, the wife of the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, was carrying a Chanel Classic Flap 11.12 lambskin worth $11,300.
The 67-year-old flaunted the accessory on her Instagram page as she shared photos from the event.
But other Chanel designs on the table included a Chanel 25 Hobo Bag worth $6,400 and a Small Chanel Shopping Bag worth $5,400.
First Lady of Panama Maricel de Mulino brought a $1,850 plum-colored Ferragamo handbag with chain detailing.
And First Lady of France Macron appeared to be clutching a $900 black Lady Dior Voyageur wallet.
There also appeared to be a Saint Laurent Bordeaux crocodile-embossed bag made from calfskin in the mix. The chic accessory, pictured in a burgundy gloss, is valued at $3,550 new.

One of the least expensive handbags appeared to be a baby blue croc-embossed Brandon Blackwood number that retails for $300.
At the time of writing, the product is sold out – but it is not yet known who the understated purse belongs to.
Meanwhile, one of the women came with a Michael Kors medium-sized tote bag in soft pink.
The item was first priced at $458 but is currently on sale for just $59.99.
Fans went wild for the social media upload and noted that several classic luxury fashion houses were represented.
‘Oh be still, my little fashionista heart,’ one gushed.
Another gasped: ‘Oh my word. That’s a beautiful table.’
‘I see a lot of clutches and small bags,’ a third observed. ‘It looks like Hermes has a seat as well. Fabulous collection.’
