'Game of Thrones' star Jack Gleeson marries Róisín O'Mahony

Not quite as dramatic as the Red Wedding.

Jack Gleeson, who played King Joffrey on “Game of Thrones,” got married to girlfriend Róisín O’Mahony over the weekend in a small ceremony in Ireland.

The pair’s priest revealed the exciting news on Twitter, calling their nuptials “very simple, prayerful and dignified.”

Father Patsy Lynch posted photos from the couple’s ceremony showing off the small church where they exchanged vows.

The newlyweds kept things casual with Gleeson wearing a green button-down and gray slacks, and his bride opting for a colorful patterned sundress.

Fans of the hit HBO series were quick to wish the couple congratulations and comment on Gleeson’s seemingly stark contrast to the villain he played on the show.

“He looks really sound. Totally different to the character he played in GOT. Gorgeous couple!” one user wrote, to which Lynch replied, calling the actor, 30, “a very down to earth, simple and relaxed person.”

When another user commented on the “lovely wedding” and photos, Lynch responded, “It was an amazing celebration. Everyone was so relaxed. I will treasure so many memories of this special day.”

Gleeson starred in the Emmy-winning series from 2011 to 2014 before his character was killed off. After playing one of the most hated characters of all time, he decided to take a break from acting.

“I just stopped enjoying it as much as I used to,” he told EW in 2014. “It’s not like I hate it, it’s just not what I want to do.”

After a six-year break, he made his return to television on the show “Out of Her Mind” and is set to star in “The Land of Saints and Sinners,” alongside Liam Neeson, next year.
