Holly Ramsay looked downcast as she watched her husband Adam Peaty compete in Edinburgh on Sunday

Holly Ramsay looked downcast as she watched her husband Adam Peaty compete in Edinburgh on Sunday.

The influencer, 26, was there to support the Olympic swimmer as he took to the pool on the third day of the International Swim Meet.

Sitting in the stands, Holly wore a black cardigan over a white Loewe tank top while watching the race unfold.

She appeared fully focused on the action in the pool as she followed his performance.

On Saturday, Adam was quickest at the 50-metre turn, clocking 28.06 seconds, but faded slightly in the closing stretch and finished with a time of 1:00.74.

The result is some distance from his world record of 56.88 seconds, which he set at the peak of his career in South Korea in 2019.

Hours earlier, Holly shared a heartwarming tribute to her mum Tana for Mother’s Day, while Adam pointedly remained silent about his own mother.

The daughter of Gordon Ramsay took to her Instagram Stories to share a collage of snaps of Tana, 51, while also featuring her famous father, 59, and Olympian husband, 31.

In the caption, she gushed: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to the best mama. I love you so much xxxx’ over a snap of the mother-and-daughter together on her wedding day in December.

Another shot showed the pair walking hand-in-hand on Holly’s now-infamous hen-do, while a third, taken during her and Adam’s engagement party, saw Tana and Gordon posing with the happy couple.

However, unsurprisingly Adam didn’t share his own Mother’s Day tribute, after his bitter fallout with his mum Caroline, 60, which saw him disinvite her and the rest of his family – bar his sister – from his and Holly’s wedding in December.

It was all said to be down to a row between the family, which saw Caroline not invited to the bride’s hen-do earlier last year.

Adam’s sister Bethany was his sole relative invited to his wedding, and was among the maids of honour for the big day.

And the bitter family rift looks no closer to be resolved, after Adam’s aunt slammed the swimmer in the wake of news he is calling his father-in-law Gordon ‘Dad’.

The chef, who unveiled his Netflix documentary featuring the Olympian, revealed last month that Adam had started calling him ‘Dad’ – something Caroline’s sister Louise Williams branded ‘toadying behaviour’.

In a lengthy rant on Threads, she discussed the sacrifices made by Adam’s dad Mark, who she said ‘worked his hands raw and bleeding’ as a bricklayer to pay for his swimming.

She wrote: ‘Oh Adam your poor dad. How could you? That man literally worked his hands bloody in order that you could pursue your dream… He worked long long days as a brickie – a hard laborious back breaking job. He did it without moan or complaint.’

Last month, the Ramsays unveiled their new six-part documentary, which follows Gordon’s journey in opening new restaurants at London’s Bishopsgate, and features a brief clip of Adam and Holly’s engagement party.

Prior to the documentary’s release, Caroline demanded she be removed from the footage, although she was seen in a fleeting scene.

Since the documentary was unveiled, Gordon revealed Adam’s new moniker for him last month on  Gaby Roslin’s Reasons To Be Joyful podcast.

He proudly said: ‘He calls me dad. He messaged me and said “Hey dad, what have you got? Hey dad, are you around later?”

‘And it’s just like, “Oh my God”. Incredible.’ And what a lovely couple. They are a dream for Tana and I.’

Louise responded with fury over the news – ordering Adam to recognise the sacrifices made by his parents, including Mark’s ‘laborious’ job as a bricklayer to pave the way to Adam’s Olympic success.

She wrote: ‘I’ve got tears in my eyes as I type this. Your dad worked his hands raw and bleeding to pay your swimming expenses before you got sponsorship…

‘He worked long long days as a brickie – a hard laborious back breaking job. He did it without moan or complaint…. Look at Adams toadying behaviour towards Mr Ramsay and the disgusting way he has treated my sister and brother in law.’

Continuing in her rant, she also referenced Adam’s recent praise for his swimming coach Melanie Marshall, who he said ‘shaped him into the man he is today’.

Louise went on: ‘Oh Adam your poor dad. How could you? That man literally worked his hands bloody in order that you could pursue your dream…

‘You credit Mr Ramsay as your dad. You credit Mel for shaping you into the man you are today. What about your mum and dad? You are a complete and utter tool.’

In her crusade against the Ramsays, she spoke about their documentary and PR team, penning: ‘Insult us all you like I dont give a monkeys uncle…

‘The Ramsays Adam and Holly know they have done wrong which is why they are love bombing on tv online and in the newspapers. They have a pr team that makes their s***e look like spun gold…

‘However we have something that trumps that and its called THE TRUTH. You can fool people some of the time but eventually the truth outs. Look at the nastiness in his documentary.’

Meanwhile, following the show’s release, Caroline took to social media on to share a post which said: ‘Parents often focus on growth, correction and outcomes. Grandparents focus on being.

‘No grades, no pressure, no fixing. A study showed children with active grandparents show higher emotional security scores by age 10. When a child is loved without expectation, self-worth becomes internal, not negotiated.’

In a further post on Instagram, Caroline reshared the following: ‘When I die, bury me with a picture of my children.

‘Because the greatest thing I’ve ever done isn’t my career, my house, material things or the money I’ve made.

‘It’s the sleepless nights nights I survived, the tiny hands I held, the laughter, the tears, and every hug that healed me. The greatest thing I’ve ever done is become a mother.’
