Two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks was spotted in a low-profile appearance on a New York City Subway.
The “Forrest Gump” star, 69, was pictured sitting quietly on an uptown 6 train Tuesday, obscuring his famous visage behind a medical face mask.
The actor attempted to go incognito in a green beanie, glasses, and a green jacket over a green sweater vest.
He finished the casual ensemble with dark slacks and black loafers, and carried a green bag for the outing.
Another photo showed the “Cast Away” actor looking directly at the camera while holding on to a handrail, and yet another showed the beloved star standing and hanging onto handrails with both hands.
The father of four has frequently been seen before on the subway. On Oct. 8, Hanks was pictured riding the famed public transportation rocking a black shirt and matching pants with a tan denim jean jacket.
He also wore black combat style boots, a large pair of headphones, and again rocked a medical face mask. For that outing, the actor carried an olive green backpack.
The iconic “Phoenician Scheme” actor was later pictured sitting on a park bench while sipping on a beverage.
He partially removed his face mask to sip out of the cup while enjoying the scenery.
Hanks isn’t the only celebrity to take a relatable ride on the subway.
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart were spotted snuggling up for a kiss while standing on a crowded NYC subway platform in April.
“Vampire” hitmaker Olivia Rodrigo took to Instagram in December 2024 to share a series of fashionable pics from the subway, donning a retro-inspired black and white polka dot midi dress for the outing.
And in 2020, John Leguizamo was spotted taking a nap while sitting on a subway bench. The actor carried an umbrella and wore head-to-toe black while snoozing amidst the crowd of commuters.
Other A-listers who have hitched a ride on the subway in the past include Katie Holmes, Ron Howard and Kevin Bacon, among others.
