Donald Trump and Melania Trump look more in love than ever with their ‘flirty’ public displays making them look like ‘newlyweds,’ according to a body language expert.
On Friday morning, the couple were seen boarding Air Force One to depart to the parts of Texas that were devastated by flash flooding last week.
But as the President, 79, and his wife, 55, set off on their journey, they put on a united front.
The couple could be seen walking to the plane with their arms lovingly wrapped around each other.
Trump even placed a hand over his wife’s waist as she got onto Air Force One.
And according to body language expert Judi James, it’s a dynamic that has been especially noticeable as of late.
She explained that the affectionate touches were especially evident on The Fourth of July, as they held each other while watching fireworks go off at the White House.

‘There seems to be a new aura of romance and warmth from Donald and Melania’s body language recently,’ James told the Daily Mail exclusively.
‘Their appearance on the balcony on Independence Day involved some coy kisses that delighted the crowd and made the couple look almost like newly-weds,’ she continued.
Trump has been married to Melania since 2005, this year marking their 20th anniversary as a couple.
Of course, they share one child together, son Barron, 18, who is an incoming sophomore at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
She noted that their body language earlier today as they boarded the plane made them appear ’emotionally close.’
‘The mutual arms around each other’s torsos pulls them close and despite adding a more chaotic and less elegant look to their deportment, the way the gesture of affection is wholly reciprocated, with Melania’s splayed hand displayed firmly on her husband’s back, makes them appear united and perhaps emotionally close as well as physically,’ James said.
‘Trump’s hand also seems to freeze rather close to the First Lady’s bum here too, hinting at something a little flirtier as they step inside their plane,’ she added.
And, according to Daily Mail’s expert lip reader Nicola Hickling, their moment up the stairs really was a romantic one, as he told her, ‘I’ve got you,’ as he tenderly touched her back.

And about their romantic evening on Fourth of July, Hickling told The Irish Star that as the crowd chanted ‘USA,’ Trump leaned in and told Melania, ‘Let’s bring it home… hasn’t it been good?’
Hickling then claimed that Melania said, ‘How exciting… they make me jump… pull me close.’
But then, things got spicy, according to the lip reader – she alleged that Trump told his wife that they should ‘have a quicky.’
‘Are you saying you fancy me?’ Melania reportedly said in response, to which Trump said, ‘Very much.’
Hickling has since told Daily Mail about the moment, adding: ‘Their off-mic moments were a fascinating contrast to the formal setting, warm, playful, and unexpectedly intimate.’
‘I could see they were making memories,’ she added.
Their sweet affection comes just days after Trump revealed the ‘terrible’ pet name he has for Melania.
During a speech in Iowa last week, the president slipped up, calling his wife of 25 years by her pet name.

‘Stepping into a marriage with Donald, I found myself navigating the intricate dynamics of his big family,’ Melania wrote in her new memoir
‘I remember saying to our great first lady…’ he began, before adding: ‘I call her ‘First Lady,’ isn’t it terrible?’
‘I say, ‘Good night, First Lady, my darling,’ because it reminds me that I’m president,’ he noted.
In Melania’s self-titled memoir which she published in October 2024, she wrote about some aspects of her marriage to Donald, including how she navigated the dynamics of joining a big family and becoming a stepmother.
When Melania married President Donald, he already had four kids from his previous marriages: daughter Ivanka, 42, and sons Donald Jr., 46, and Eric 40, whom he had with ex Ivana, as well as daughter Tiffany, 30, who he shares with Marla Maples.
‘Stepping into a marriage with Donald, I found myself navigating the intricate dynamics of his big family,’ Melania wrote in her new memoir.
‘It demanded flexibility and openness, but each moment was a chance to connect, learn, and grow in this new environment.’
She explained that by the time she had married Trump, many of her stepchildren had already become ‘more independent,’ and while Tiffany was in her ‘formative years,’ she was living with her mother in California.
‘My approach to building relationships with Donald’s children has always been grounded in love and respect,’ Melania wrote.
‘I recognize their individuality, understanding that, as their stepmother, my role is not to replace their mothers but to nurture a supportive and amicable connection,’ she continued.
‘This perspective has enabled me to cultivate meaningful relationships with each child in a unique way.’
However, she did maintain that she does not always agree with the opinions of her stepchildren, or even her own husband, it is a ‘natural aspect’ of any relationship.
‘While I may not agree with every opinion or choice expressed by Donald’s grown children, nor do I align with all of Donald’s decisions, I acknowledge that different viewpoints are a natural aspect of human relationships,’ the jewelry designer penned.
