Meghan King’s three children will be spending Thanksgiving with their father, Jim Edmonds, after the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum temporarily lost custody of them, Page Six can exclusively report.
A source tells us that even though King has supervised visitation rights with the kids on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the brood will be celebrating Thursday’s holiday with Edmonds and his wife, Kortnie Edmonds, at their home in Tennessee.
It’s unclear how King, who lives in Missouri, will be spending Thanksgiving this year.
Her reps did not immediately respond to our request for comment. Reps for Jim were also not immediately available.
Last week, news broke that King, 41, had temporarily lost custody of daughter Aspen, 9, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 7, to her ex-husband.
A source claimed to us that King has a history of giving Hayes the prescription medication Ritalin, even though he has not been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Our source went on to say that Child Protective Services (CPS) launched an investigation after King allegedly asked Hayes’ school nurse to also administer the unprescribed medication.
We were told that Jim, 55, and Kortnie were in Tennessee when he got the call from CPS, so the couple flew back to Missouri.
According to our source, a temporary restraining order was granted, and a more permanent custody arrangement will be determined at a court hearing scheduled for Dec. 9.
Though King has not publicly addressed the situation, her former co-star Kelly Dodd called her an “excellent” parent who deserves to have “her babies back.”
King and Jim were married from October 2014 until she filed for divorce from the retired MLB star five years later following a cheating scandal. Their split was finalized in May 2021.
Though the exes initially agreed to share joint custody of their kids, a few roadblocks have disrupted the peace.
As recently as May, Kortnie called the cops on King for allegedly trespassing on her and Jim’s property.
King, who claimed to responding officers that Jim was “incredibly emotionally abusive,” insisted the situation had been “mischaracterized.”
“Meghan briefly called to her daughter from the doorway, never stepped inside, had the door slammed in her face and calmly left her belongings on the porch,” the former Bravolebrity’s rep told us at the time.
“Upon leaving, she was unexpectedly blocked by multiple police vehicles and treated in a way that felt unnecessarily hostile.”
