Howie Mandel’s awkward handshake with OnlyFans model Sophie Rain goes viral

America’s Got Talent veteran judge Howie Mandel poked fun at his real-life mysophobia, OCD and ADHD conditions by taking part in a skit with OnlyFans model Sophie Rain.

When the 23-year-old content creator agreed to shake hands with the 70-year-old AGT veteran judge, he strapped on a bizarre contraption, which made her question, ‘This is just for shaking hands?’

‘You’re lucky,’ Mandel replied before slipping two gloved hands through holes attached to plexiglass that shielded his entire head and torso.

‘Oh, what a pleasure to meet you,’ the Canadian comedian said while locking paws with Rain.

‘It is such a pleasure to meet Sophie Rain, ladies and gentlemen! And who is your only fan?’

The Bop House co-founder dutifully replied: ‘Howie Mandel!’

‘I’m her only fan!’ Mandel repeated before high-fiving Rain.

The viral video, posted Saturday, was technically taped on May 22 at the AI-powered Proto Hologram headquarters in Van Nuys, California.

‘Loved meeting you @howiemandel,’ the Miami Swim Week catwalker captioned her post.

The four-time Emmy nominee replied in the comments section: ‘Thanks for being on my [Howie Mandel Does Stuff] podcast. You were great.’

Rain has alleged she’s earned an eye-popping $110.3 million on the Fenix International-owned XXX platform, which takes a 20 percent commission, since joining in 2023.

The prolific influencer also claimed she now owns three houses, 12 vehicles and a private jet.

Indeed, Mandel normally only does fist bumps, not handshakes, since he’s suffered from a crippling fear of germs ever since a sandfly laid eggs beneath his skin as a child.

‘In my mind [my hand] is like a petri dish,’ The Price is Right Tonight producer-host told ABC News in 2009.

‘Otherwise I would spend the day, as I have in the past in my life in the men’s room rubbing and scrubbing and scalding…Hand rails are my enemy. I never go near a hand rail.’

Despite taking medication, Mandel refuses to use strange bathrooms, washes all his cash, moves to a smaller home in his Hollywood Hills backyard if anyone in the household gets sick and his makeup artists must use brand new sponges every application.

The grandfather-of-three even wrote a 256-page book all about the debilitating anxiety disorder in 2009 titled Here’s the Deal: Don’t Touch Me.

Back in 2021, The Cinemaholic reported that Mandel earned $1.75 million/per season while fellow judge Sofía Vergara earned $10 million and producer-judge Simon Cowell earned $45 million.

The Deal or No Deal Island producer-host is next scheduled to perform live on June 13 at the Leelanau Sands Casino & Lodge in Peshawbestown, Michigan.

Mandel is famed for having voiced Gizmo in Gremlins (1984) and Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) as well as creating and starring in Fox Kids animated series Bobby’s World (1990-1998).

The Hollywood Walk of Famer also had memorable acting turns in the NBC medical drama St. Elsewhere (1982-1988) and Richard Alan Greenberg’s kids comedy Little Monsters (1989).

On the personal front, Mandel has welcomed three adult children – Jackelyn Shultz, 41, Alex Mandel, 36, and Riley Mandel, 33 – from his impressive 46-year marriage to wife Terry Soil Mandel.
