ICE Descends on Lewiston, ME – HotAir

I wrote the other day about the cesspool of fraud and corruption that is Lewiston, ME. 

It is a mini-Minneapolis, and far less prominent in people’s minds because, well…Maine. Who thinks about Maine?





But you would be surprised. Maine turns out to be another jurisdiction where Somalis have settled and begun to pillage the coffers of the state like the Vikings pillaging monasteries long ago. And, like those monasteries, the region is defenseless. 

The pillaging is brazen. After a horrific mass shooting, the state set up a relief fund for the victims, who subsequently were left out in the cold as the fund set up for Governor Janet Mills was raided to fund local Somali nonprofits. 

You see the same pattern of health care fraud, and the same brazenness and political maneuvering between Somali fraudsters and local Democrats. 





“That’s a $2 million home health care agency. You can see it’s located right next to two money-wiring services. Right next to it you have DahabShiel. DahabShiel is the official money-wiring service of the Central Bank of Somalia.” 🤯

“We’re here in Portland, Maine. We found of the businesses that are registered in here, of the 20-something businesses, 10 of them are home health care businesses.”

“As you can see, Prestige Home Care, Brightstar Home Care, Atlanta Community Support, Five Stars Home Health Care, Prime Home Care, LLC.”

“It’s a trend we saw in Minnesota, one that the Minnesota House Oversight Committee on Fraud tells NewsNation is a giant red flag, large clusters of health care providers in one location.”

“This building right behind me has 22 different home and community-based health care companies registered in the building.”

OWNER: “Some I highly question. Nobody’s ever here, and if it was one or two or three or four, but when there’s 10, I’ve had as many as 12 or 13 probably before.”

It’s not just Lewiston, of course. Governor Janet Mills has enabled this fraud throughout the state, and I have little doubt we will find that the Democratic Party enjoys the same flow of money from the Somali community there as here in Minnesota.





I wouldn’t call it an accountability crisis. It is an organized crime scheme, with top state officials well aware of and likely benefiting from it. 

Now that Lewiston’s Somali City Council member has resigned due to his fraud, including fraudulently claiming he lived in the city, the Council is debating what to do. Here is how they are taking citizen testimony. 

It’s insane. 





You may be shocked that Maine, of all places, is a hotbed of corruption, and I would have been too, not so long ago. But this is the business model of the Democratic Party now. 

The Trump administration, having been alerted to the mess, has descended on the city, and the state government is responding there as has been happening in Minnesota. They have gone into full cover-up mode. 

It appears the Trump administration has orchestrated a mass blitz into Maine – surprising the Leftists/Democrats in the state.  Janet Mills has frantically ordered an emergency enactment of “Sanctuary  State” demanding local & state PD immediately HALT all ICE assistance.

We’ve gotten reports that local PD & state PD have jointly helped in many of these raids today in some form or manner.  We are trying to confirm – there appears to be some level of open rebellion against Maine Democrats within the police & sheriff forces in our state.





Democrats give us all sorts of happy talk about how “diversity is our strength,” and when people start looking into the corruption that underlies this “diversity,” they start screaming “Racism!” 

We no longer care. This is a grift. This is a business model.
