Estee Williams’ baby girl, Estelle, died after being told she was ineligible for a heart transplant due to various health complications.
On Saturday, the influencer took to her Instagram Stories to announce the 8-month-old’s tragic passing.
“Until we meet again, my sweet Estelle 🪽,” she wrote over a photo of herself holding the infant, who was born with the congenital heart defect ventricular septal defect (VSD).
Williams confirmed to People that her daughter died from multiple organ failure.
Estelle was born in September 2025 to Williams and her husband, Conner. Two days after her birth, she was diagnosed with VSD, a hole in the wall that separates the lower chambers of the heart, per the Cleveland Clinic.
Williams’ family created a now-defunct GoFundMe, saying that Estelle underwent an “extremely difficult and delicate open-heart surgery at just 11 weeks old.”
In December 2025, the infant was placed on life support after going into cardiac arrest.
That same month, the baby underwent another open-heart surgery and was discharged from the hospital.
Williams said her daughter was Status 1A for a heart transplant, which is the highest medical urgency category on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) pediatric heart transplant waiting list.
However, in April, Estelle was taken off the top of the transplant list due to her ongoing health complications.
“It was a bummer since we were at the top of the list in the Northeast. It’s okay though because we are trusting God’s timing,” Williams wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time, per People.
“Her team is clearing her other organs one by one for heart transplant eligibility after the hit they took a couple of weeks ago, we’ll get there!” she added.
Last month, Williams said her baby girl was removed from the heart transplant list for a second time.
“This week has been extremely tough,” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “Estelle is once again ineligible for a heart transplant.”
